Im the kind of person who gets Brainworms.

An idea takes hold of me and its like the nuron responsible for encoding that idea is ocer active, inserting this concept into all my thoughts.

One such has been hypermedia of course, another has been the pub/sub framework NATS.

I leaened about it from the guy who wrote data-star. Data-star is his side project, his day job is working at the company that does NATS[1]. He said that most of his impressive demos are due to NATS.

I set up a system on my computer that reads out telegram messages from a chat with my friends so I can keep up with our chat without having to be glued to it (I am dyslexic as well so often fast chat is hard to follow)

At the moment I uses espeak, which i am used to, but I also have a piper deamon configured with lazy loading voice models which I still need to wire in to the telegram tts service .

It is good, a version of this for Cyberspace would be cool, like a text to speach interface.

I just went to my local library and borrowed a turn table and a bunch of viynal records.

I'm very excited.

I used one in a hotel in pairs this weekend and I loved it, but then i found out how expensive they are. Love that I can borrow a pretty good quality one from the library and a load of albums as well.

I changed the way use you-tube recently.

I have used pipe-pipe for a while to avoid adds and vertical short-form, but it was still a time sink for me. Even just the subscription feed is addictive and induces an inordinate and unintentional destruction of time.

Recently I reordered the interlace so I don't have a subscription inbox.

To discover new videos now I scroll through the list of my subscriptions checking each individual to see if they have uploaded something new.
